Arsenal are keen to further strengthen their squad this summer as they look to continue their progression under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have continued to improve each campaign under the tenure of their former midfielder and that is partly due to their shrewd activity in the transfer market.
In the summer of 2023, Arsenal broke their transfer record to sign Declan Rice from West Ham for €116.6 million.
In addition, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and David Raya (loan) also arrived during the same window as the Gunners spent big after missing out on the English top flight title.
The club haven't been shy in splashing the cash recently to try and fight the might of Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League, and with an injection of Champions League money, they are set to splurge on transfers this summer once again.
We exclusively detailed via Steve Kay that Arsenal are prepared to SMASH their transfer record this summer, with Arteta set to be backed heavily in the transfer market.
As always with such a big club, the Arsenal transfer rumour mill is in full swing, with Arteta keen to add to the talent he has already brought to the club.

Rice wants to play with Gallagher at club level
Declan Rice says he would love to play with Conor Gallagher at club level. The pair are currently together at Euro 2024 with England, and the latter is set to receive his first start of the tournament on Tuesday.
“I’ve played against him when he was at Crystal Palace and Chelsea, and I’ve played with him in the academy team," Rice told BBC 5 Live.
“He is player I would love to have in my team. He works his socks off. You feel so safe and secure in there with him. He has surprised so many people this year with his ability on the ball. How he breaks forward with it, how he gets into the box and scores goals.”
Gallagher is expected to leave Chelsea, with Spurs said to be interested in a deal.

Arsenal target the best player at the Euros?
Rio Ferdinand believes Arsenal target Nico Williams has been the best player of Euro 2024 so far.
The Athletic Club winger has put in some electric performances for Spain in the group stage, and away from the pitch, he remains a wanted man by several big clubs including the Gunners and Barcelona.
“He has a buy-out clause in the mid-50s I see and I read somewhere," Ferdinand said on Vibe with Five.
“The pace is electric. I love him. I think he is the ]best] player of the rounds.”

Cold water poured on Gyokeres news
Arsenal are not on the cusp of signing Viktor Gyokeres, despite reports. The Gunners' number one centre-forward target was previously Benjamin Sesko but after he announced he was staying at RB Leipzig, other players need looked at.
"On Gyokeres guys, nothing is imminent. I can guarantee you that nothing is happening with Gyokeres right now, but the interest is always there, but still nothing imminent," Fabrizio Romano confirmed.
The Sporting CP striker has a reported release clause of around £68.5 million.
